Mustard seeds - 3 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Garlic - 6-7 cloves
Green chilli - 2
salt
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Mustard oil
water - 3-4 cups
Masala - Grind mustards seeds, cumins seeds, garlic and green chillis into a fine paste
Peel the skin of Olua and cut into small pieces (smear your hands with oil to avoid itching).
Take 3 cups of water in a pressure cooker and boil the olua (2 Whistle).
When cooked, drain the water from the olua. Take olua in a wok, add ground paste, turmeric, salt and oil (1 teaspoon). Cook it in low flame for 15- 20 mins.
Note: You may use frozen packets of Olua. In this case, you do not need to peel and boil them. Just cook them a little longer covered.
